In her hometown of Columbus, Ohio Jacque grew-up always knowing that she was an artist. At the tender age of 3 years old she had her first art studio under the family dinning room table. By the age of fifteen she began winning scholarships to Saturday morning art classes offered through the Columbus College of Art and Design. After high school graduation Jacque would go on to receive a scholarship, to the same college, where she continued her education and received a BFA in fashion design and fashion illustration.
Jacque started her 25 year art career freelancing as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator for a local independent clothing company. Jacque then took a turn in her career when she accepted a position with Walt Disney Animation Studios in Orlando, Florida where she worked as an animator. Her film credits include: "Mulan", "Tarzan", "Lilo and Stitch", "Brother Bear", "Princess and The Frog", "Mickey Mouse" project, "Little Match Girl". "Lion King" Imax, "Pochahontas" additions, and "Goofy's How to Haunt a House".
After spending almost a decade working on feature films Jacque opened her design and textile studio. She has been fortunate enough to design, license, develop and produce over 600 consumer products for the gift, stationery, jewelry, apparel, hand bags, hand bag accessories, luggage, blankets, decorative throw pillows, bedding, and home decor items for clients such as: Amazon, The Bradford Group, Etch Star, Sunshine Import, Aliz International, Art Zulu, Hi-Look, iFanatic, FunMo, iScream, Fun Friends, and Pierro Studios LLC for the Jacque Pierro brand- exhibited at NY NOW trade shows in New York City.
